- Fire Ants – Are a red-colored insects that sting and deliver a harmful substance called venom into your skin. The most common way to identify these ants is by the mounds they build in your yard.
- Pharaoh Ants – Are small yellow or light brown in color can look almost transparent. colonies have multiple queens so budding is a concern. It is VERY important to identify them correctly so as not to make the problem worse.
- Pavement Ants – Are small dark brown to black in color. Usually found nesting under rocks in the yard.
- Argentine Ants – Are a dull brown color. Can nest in several places inside and outside of your home.
